Workflows

In bioinformatics, complex analyses are often organised as workflows — sequences of computational steps that leverage a variety of tools. To promote reproducibility, discoverability, and standardisation, the community adopts the GA4GH Tool Registry Service (TRS). This specification enables users to register, share, and retrieve workflows and tools across different platforms.

IMPORTANT

Execution support via the GA4GH WES (Workflow Execution Service) and TES (Task Execution Service) APIs is in active development.

The platform enables users to use their own custom workflows or public workflows from upstream repositories like WorkflowHub and Dockstore.

It provides a scalable, user-friendly, and abstracted workflow management experience aligned with full TRS integration.
